Concierge

The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of Plantation Golf & Country Club, creating a warm, professional, and personalized experience for every member and guest. As a key member of our Member Experience Team, the Concierge plays an essential role in delivering exceptional hospitality, anticipating member needs, and ensuring every interaction reflects the Club's commitment to outstanding service. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, organized, and passionate about creating memorable experiences. This position requires a proactive approach to member engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a seamless Club experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Member & Guest Experience:

• Warmly greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Build meaningful relationships with members by learning their names, preferences, and interests.
• Proactively anticipate member needs and identify opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Assist members with general inquiries, Club information, reservations, and upcoming events.
• Handle member concerns professionally, taking ownership and coordinating resolutions with the appropriate departments.
• Identify opportunities to create personalized "WOW" moments that enhance the member experience.

Club Communication & Coordination:

• Serve as a central point of communication between members and Club departments, including Golf, Food & Beverage, Membership, Racquets, Fitness, and Administration.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of daily Club activities, events, dining options, and facility operations.
• Assist members with dining reservations, event registrations, and general Club services.
• Communicate important updates, schedule changes, and Club information accurately and professionally.
• Support the Membership Team by welcoming prospective members and assisting with new member orientations.
• Ensure member requests and concerns are appropriately documented and followed through to completion.

Daily Concierge Operations:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional concierge desk and surrounding lobby areas.
• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Monitor member and guest arrivals and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities, correspondence, and other operational tasks.
• Stay informed of daily Club events, golf activities, dining specials, and facility availability.
• Support Club events, member activities, and special functions as needed.

Member Engagement & Service Excellence:

• Actively engage with members throughout the Club, not solely from behind the concierge desk.
• Recognize special occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, and member milestones.
• Assist in coordinating monthly member appreciation initiatives and personalized experiences.
• Gather member feedback and communicate opportunities for improvement to Club leadership.
• Demonstrate a genuine sense of ownership in the overall member experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in hospitality, concierge services, private clubs, hotels, or customer service preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and welcoming personality.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive member information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and basic administrative systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
